What excites me is the personal aspect of the business. With so many technical factors to consider, it is easy for financial planners to forget about the very real relationship we are trusted to maintain. Going to work every day where we get to spend our time helping clients achieve what matters most to them is a privilege that should never be taken for granted.

— Andrew Woolley

Whether a client’s financial plan is comprehensive or focused on a single topic, Andrew is passionate about providing strategies that are realistic and achievable. As he guides them toward the goals they have established, his clients experience a sense of relief and the ability to focus on the other areas of life that matter most to them.

It is Andrew’s core belief that clients who go through a true planning process have a clearer long-term vision, more realistic expectations, greater peace-of-mind, and therefore more positive outcomes than those who do not.

After two years in the life insurance industry, Andrew came to Personal Wealth Advisory, LLC in 2016 to provide clients with a comprehensive planning process. He earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 2018.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a financial planner?

A good financial planner is a soldier for his or her client’s future and their family’s future. That is why every bad day or every hoop we have to jump through is worth it.

What’s the biggest challenge?

As an advocate for my clients’ best interest, sometimes I am obligated to inform people they are, in fact, not on track to meet their goals and need to change their behavior…sometimes drastically. Truly convincing people (not just getting them to agree) of the necessity to shed bad habits can be very difficult.

What do you do for fun?

I enjoy spending time with family, reading, podcasts, anything relating to baseball, and can often be found walking my dog somewhere around Lititz.

What would you be doing if you weren’t at PWA?

I would be selling insurance for one of the mega national companies or working at a stock-trading company, and not enjoying the intrinsic value of getting to know clients on such a personal level by bringing the two worlds together. I also seriously considered becoming a teacher and high school baseball coach, but found that, apart from the baseball, my true passion for education was found in financial education, and not in your more traditional classroom subjects.
